Sour Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 TBSP butter
  • 2 TBSP flour
  • 2 cups reduced sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or greek yogurt or heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Directions

  1. Over medium heat, melt 2 Tbsp butter then whisk in 2 Tbsp flour and continue mixing until golden in color.
  2. Whisk in 2 cups chicken broth and stir until it starts to thicken.
  3. Add 1/4 cup sour cream and seasoning.

Great served with meatballs over rice.
