Biscotti

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter (melted)
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 rounded teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon flavoring – Almond, Vanilla, lemon, Anise
  • 4 1/2 cups flour

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Mix all ingredients together and divide dough into 4 loaves on baking sheets.  Shape loaves into 4 inch wide loaves (about 1″ thick).
  3. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Slice and place back on baking sheet in oven to crisp for 5 minutes each side.
