Granola

Ingredients

ADAPTED:

  • 2 tbsp + 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp + 2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp molasses
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 cups of oats
  • 2 tbsp chia seed
  • 1 cups chopped almonds

ORIGINAL:

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 4 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 5 cups of oats
  • 2 cups chopped almonds
  • 2 cups raisins (optional)][

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven at 325
  2. Mix the first 7(adapted)/5(original) ingredients together
  3. Add oats and mix completely so they are evenly coated
  4. Add nuts (or seeds) and mix til evenly coated.
  5. Press into a parchement lined jelly roll
  6. Sprinkle 1 tbsp of sugar on top
  7. Bake at 325 – 30 mins – rotate 1x mid way
  8. Let cool for 1 hr.
  9. Break up into pieces
  10. Add dried fruit.
  11. Enjoy!
