Drop Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 TBSP baking powder
  • 1/2 TSP salt
  • 6 TBSP cold butter
  • 1 1/4 cups milk (add more if your dough cant easily be dropped with a spatula and a knife)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450.
  2. Mix dry ingredients together thoroughly.
  3. Add butter and cut into dry mix until it resembles course crumbs with a pastry cutter.
  4. Add milk and stir until dough comes together and is sticky. Add more milk if the mixture is dry – 1 TBSP at a time.
  5. Drop onto a buttered pyrex dish or parchment lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake in oven for 15 minutes or until golden.
