Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

 

  • 1 cup and 2 TBSP flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 6 TBSP butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp molasses
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

 

Directions

 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl.
  3. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add egg and mix.
  4. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate.
  5. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto parchment lined baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
